During the tour you will have the chance to explore an exceptional selection out of 145 exhibits and 24 different thematic of the museum of Ancient Greek Technology. Starting from the robot-servant of Philon to the “cinema” of Heron and from the hydraulic clock of Archimedes to the analog computer of Antikythera, you will rediscover the period from 2000 B.C up to the decline of the Ancient Greek world. Then you will savor a 4-course dinner of authentic Ancient Greek cuisine by the Chef Achileas Politis served with your choice of red or white wine in the hall of Ancient Greek musical instruments.

The knowledgeable museum guide will help you to discover that the technology of the Ancient Greeks, just before the decline of the ancient world, was surprisingly similar to the beginning of our modern technology.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors are given the opportunity to experience the incredible technological achievements of the Ancient Greeks and to discover that the ancient Greeks had invented a “”cinema”; had devised automotive vehicles (automobiles); had used functional robots in order to serve them; and had discovered the beginning of the steam engine.
